The famous five-a-side football tournament is back at NAM2017! The tournament will take place on the University's sports ground, shortly after 18:00 on Tuesday 4th July. The event should be finished by 20:30. Four pitches have been booked at the sport center in the Hull campus. We invite interested teams to contact This email address is being protected from spambots. If you already have a team, please add also a contact email, in case we need to provide specific info about this. If you would like to play but you do not have a team, please send a message with subject line "NAM2017 @ soccer request", and we will try our best to find a team for you.
Information for players: We have 4 pitches booked: 3 grass pitches and one 3G pitch. The recommended footwear would be ‘astro-boots’ or trainers rather than full stud boots. We will only use the grass pitch if necessary. In any case, the grass pitch should be sufficiently firm in the summer and so normal trainers should suffice.

BBQ
A relaxed BBQ will be held at from 19:00 to 21:30 in the Canham Turner Building, a few minutes walk from the sports centre where the Football tournament will take place. It is possible to attend both events.
As of the end of June, more than 300 of you have already signed up for the BBQ! Dietary restrictions expressed at the time of registration will be catered for.
We have commissioned a special saffron-infused red ale ("The Redshift") from Hull-based brewery Atom Beers, specially for NAM2017. There are 400 bottles available on a first-come-first-served basis.
