How to manage abstracts
When you log on to the NAM website, you will be presented with a new menu item under Science called Session Admins.
From here you will see a list of all abstracts that have been submitted for your session.
Each individual abstract can be selected for you to read and once you've read the abstract you have a number of choices.
- You must change the status of the submission to show it as Accepted or Declined.
- You can also change the status to Received to show that you are considering it.
You can also filter the list of abstracts, for example to only show Accepted abstracts.
Scheduling your abstracts
Choose a day and session time from the given schedule (see the Timetable) for your session, then enter a specific time for each abstract. Please note that if you don't choose a day and session time, the default of Monday at 09:00 will be selected.
- Day: eg. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday
- Session Time: eg. 09:00 - 10:30, 13:30 - 15:00 or 16:30 - 18:00
- Talk Start: eg. 09:35
CSV Export
At any time, if you find it useful, you can download your list of abstracts as a CSV file. Note that this will be the complete list of abstracts so that you can edit the information in your preferred spreadsheet application.
