We report on an intriguing display of structure across the Faraday depth sky, illuminated by gradients in local median rotation measure over the grid of polarized radio sources catalogued by Taylor et al. from the NVSS. We find that these gradients exhibit a filamentary morphology. This talk will explore characteristics of these filamentary rotation measure gradients, and examine their potential for unveiling properties of the complex magnetoionic environment in our Galaxy and beyond.
