Looking Forward to Cosmology in the Era of LSST and Euclid
Large-volume weak lensing surveys like KiDS and DES represent a step change in our ability to do late-Universe cosmology, which will only accelerate as new missions like Euclid, LSST, DESI and WFIRST come online. We want to showcase cutting-edge results from current surveys and some of the innovative approaches being planned for future data. We aim to bring together specialists from the different surveys, with a particular focus on weak lensing, to discuss the latest developments, present new results, share knowledge and identify areas for collaboration. The session will be of interest to a wide range of cosmologists, covering applications related to dark energy, tests of gravity, the baryon-dark matter relation and neutrino mass.
